McDonald’s Play Area at Terminal D – D8
A play area for our littlest passengers – allow your child to work off a little energy in this kid-friendly play area, featuring a foam-soft playscape plus a seating area and charging outlets for you. 

DFW Airport’s Walking Path

Have a longer block of time between flights? Check out the DFW Airport walking path. The path, which has been endorsed by the American Heart Association, provides you with the option to remain active while on the go. The path measures seven-tenths of a mile and is aligned with DFW Airport’s Art Program floor medallions.  The course includes informational signage between each of the twelve medallions and stretches between gates D6 and D40. Want to up the ante? Add in the two additional 55-foot high staircases that lead up to the Skylink stations.

Emergency Room & Pharmacy at Terminal D – D22
Visit Code 3 Urgent Care and Pharmacy, our on-site emergency room and pharmacy offering affordable, convenient, high quality care for acute illnesses such as respiratory infections, colds, flu, sprains, strains, lacerations, on the job injuries and much more.  

There is also an on-site X-Ray, lab, and retail drug store. Open 6 a.m. – 10 p.m. every day. Located at D22, second level above Michael Kors. 

DFW Airport Art Program
Check into DFW’s Art Program and schedule a tour. Tours are free of charge and last between 60-90 minutes and cover a collection of over 30 pieces created by local, national, and international artists.

Nursing Rooms: DFW has multiple nursing rooms to accommodate the traveling parents journey in Terminals A, B and E. DFW has three nursing rooms located at A18, B40, E14. 
Yoga Center & Interfaith Chapels
The DFW Airport Yoga studios (D40, E31) and the Interfaith Chapels (B28, D40 and C4) all serve as a great place to refresh and regain some peace.   

Lost & Found at DFW Airport
DFW has two lost and found areas (Terminal C and Terminal E) for travelers.

  • Lost and Found (Items Not on Plane): This lost and found location is located before security across the baggage claim in Terminal E at E4. Please note that this lost and found location does not retrieve lost items on the plane. Please call 972 973 4420 for more information. 
  • Lost and Found (American Airlines): This lost and found area is located in front of the American Airlines’ Customer Service area inside security at C2. Items that are retrieved on planes may be claimed here.

Healthy Options

Have some time before your flight and looking for a sensible dining option at DFW Airport? Look for healthy options available at concessionaires across the airport.

You can now pre-order food at DFW Airport. Browse from over 50+ participating dining options, order, checkout and pickup! Once an order is submitted, meals are ready for pickup in usually 20 minutes so customers are encouraged to place an order when inside the terminals. After placing your food order, you will be notified via text and email on the status and when your meal is ready for pickup.

Traveling With Pets

Inside Security

These designated pet relief areas listed below are located inside security. Please note that for these locations you will not need to exit the terminal or re-enter through security. 

  • Terminal A – A29
  • Terminal B – B28
  • Terminal D – D18
  • Terminal E – E31

Outside Security

Designated areas for pet relief are located outside entry doors on the lower level. If your pet needs to step outside between flights, visit the designated area locations below. Please note that your boarding pass and appropriate ID will be required for re-entry into the Airport. Most TSA checkpoints open at 4:30 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m. 

  • Terminal A – A8
  • Terminal C – C2, C39
  • Terminal D – D15, D29
  • Terminal E – E2, E38

Important Information

Pets are required to be on a leash at all times when visiting DFW Airport. Additionally, if you will be traveling from DFW with your pet, please keep the appropriate pet carrier on hand. Only pets with an accompanied ticketed passenger can use the designated areas. 

Law Enforcement Canines

Please respect the Law Enforcement Canines when traveling with your pets. Travelers must ensure their pet is in its required crate and/or on a leash. Contact between your pet(s) and Law Enforcement Canines are strictly prohibited.  Petting of Law Enforcement Canines is strictly prohibited.

Paradise 4 Paws at DFW

Planning to stay overnight at DFW or need overnight care for your pet while you are away? Paradise 4 Paws is a premier pet resort for cats and dogs located outside security, near the Airport. Paradise 4 Paws is staffed for 24 hours, so pets can be picked up and dropped off any time, day or night. The lobby is open from 7a.m. to 7p.m. for walk-ins, tours, and general inquiries.
